Writing Samples:
Unfortunately (what with the non-disclosure agreements I regularly sign), I can't release full scripts from any of my written games, but I do have sections of scripts that I have permission to share!
If you're looking for some samples of my narrative design work, contact me directly and I'd be glad to share some chapters of my upcoming book on the subject!

AVARIAvs Script Section (Dialogue & Scene Structure)
The most complete sample I can offer is from the story DLC in AVARIAvs (yet to be released). In this particular section, the player controls the antagonists of the story... and as a result, the pitch black humor of the title shows itself pretty fiercely. Know this: I do have a dark sense of humor, but that's something we really decided to elevate for this game in particular.

Starship Commander - Early Draft (Interactive Structure)
I also have permission to share a (very) early draft of a scene from Starship Commander - early enough that it was done in Twine. This title was voice-controlled, meaning that, at any point, the player could say anything on their mind. As a result, this particular scene is far more dense and has many more branches than how I'd usually treat a dialogue tree, but it's also a decent marker of the complexity I can handle when it's necessary.
Note: To open the file, drag it into the folder of your Twine library and open it through the Twine application.

Into The Dark: Narakan (Mobile & Flavor Text)
We wanted the setting of Into The Dark: Narakan to have a foreboding, genuinely upsetting aura about it, but considering the platform (mobile) and art direction (abstract), we needed to capture that tone in brief, poetic snippets of writing. We took the opportunity to write out descriptions of each monster, introductory text that plays just before the player's first sighting of them, as well as "death text" that plays should the player fall victim to them. Each line is written like a poem, with line breaks in specific places to ensure that the text fit on the small screen.

Miscellaneous Samples:
If you like what you've seen above, but you aren't totally sure if I can fit the style you're looking for, I do have some other work for you to look at. These are scenes from my private work, or that I wrote up to teach my classes. I sincerely hope you enjoy the theme of early mornings and cranky coffee addicts.
