Global Game Jam 2016 - Narrative Design 101
This was a brief, one hour intensive that I taught at the 2016 Global Game Jam at Microsoft Headquarters in New York City. The advice is specifically tailored for shorter gameplay experiences (between 5 to 10 minutes). This is a recording of our livestream on Twitch TV, so my apologies for the inconsistent audio. I also apologize to Geico for saying that I hate you. I still do, but I apologize for saying it.
I gave a TED talk! It's mostly just to spread the word about all of the amazing things happening in interactive storytelling, but you never know - you might just learn something from it!
Developing Characters For Games
This is a video recording of a class that I used to teach for a company called playcrafting. I used to give out the full video to anyone who signed up for a since-cancelled newsletter, but if you want to see the full thing, just reach out via the contact form and I'll send it your way!
